Excellent podcast, Amyjay. Thanks for sharing it!
She is good, isn't she? She is considered to be one of the world's best when it comes to dissociative disorders, and I love the way she demystifies complex trauma and DID/OSDD. She also explains structural dissociation really well.
My T and I refer to these books quite a lot in my therapy. They are really helpful. https://www.amazon.com/Trauma-Relate...gateway&sr=8-2
It can be hard to figure out a go around when you dissociate when listening to stuff. Maybe its enough to just respect that you will be dissociating for a reason. I often get "blocked" from seeing or hearing stuff that I am just not ready to deal with yet.
Thanks for this!
