HI!
Well, it helps that i have additional medical coverage through my H's coverage. However my access to that coverage is going away soon.
I need my disability income and my medical benefits more than ever now.
The thing is: They do use my SSN. So where did the records go?
Where is the claim info? Where is the record of payment to me?
Don't they keep record on this stuff?
There seems to be no avenue by which I can appeal this idea of processing the claim as a new one. There is an appeals process for outright claim denial, but mine is now being investigated for approval. I may or may not be approved. Imagine that one! Even if I am approved, I still need to get this all straightened out.
I think I can get bank statements showing their direct deposits.
They should have records of having paid medical via Medicare..
What has happened to my Medicare info?
It is scary that so much info is collected by the government to begin with. Then they let their computer programs rule the world! No thought that information their computers are spitting out might be wrong.
They also claim they have records of me working when I was not working!
After all of these "mistakes," you'd think maybe they'd start thinking something was very wrong with their records? Yet, who gets paid to realize this and paid to handle this? The positions seem to be so compartementalized that nobody can/will reach out beyond the scope of their job description and help to get this resolved.
Enough on this happy stuff!
I will keep working on it and will contact a disability attorney if need be.
Thanks, Nammu!
