If nothing else, it gives you something to be able to say 'Hey, T...this calendar exercise is useful, but it's drawing my attention to the reality of my situation. I know I struggle to explain it, but here it is on paper.'
Hooray for doughnuts - I still want pancakes, but will have to wait until the week after next.
