I haven't been around that long, but I always enjoy it when you post. I find it unfortunate you were treated like you were on the other forum. I'm not sure what people feel they have to gain from treating others that way. It is a fruitless and empty adventure. Use the lessons you picked up there and throw the rest away.

I suppose the Internet is just like real life in that everyone is just trying to find their place and some are willing to fight dirty for it. Instead, I choose to open my eyes and see and enjoy the overwhelming abundance this life has to offer us. We can go anywhere and be whoever we choose to be. That is a tremendous gift. Fuzzybear, there are places that will accept you and support you. Carry realistic expectations and go where your energy is best served and returned. If this place can be more of a home to you, I know you would be welcomed with open arms.

I've read some of your posts before about how your family treats you. I'm so sorry you have to endure that. It is my hope it will improve in time. Like here, you control how you spend your precious energy when you deal with family. Tread wisely and remember the value of forgiveness.

Therapy is what you make of it. We cannot control how the meds affect us, but we do have the power to choose bravery and bare our souls to those who are trained to help. It doesn't always go as planned, but I find a positive and stern intent to gain from the experience goes a long way. Therapists learn from us as much as we learn from them. Keep in mind you are a teacher/student and don't be afraid to ask for what you believe will serve you best.

You're incredibly kind. I'm happy to have heard from you today. I hope you choose to pop by more often.
