Hi all, I hope everyone is doing well tonight. First of thank you everyone for the belated birthday wishes, they really do mean a lot. I am mostly caught up from vacation laundry and house work. The animals are happy to have there humans back from vacation and that everything feels back to normal to them. I am finally caught up on the mountain load of laundry and organized some of my closet for fall season. Yesterday we had to go grocery shopping because there was nothing in the pantry, fridge or freezer so we had to restock everything for the impending work week.
Today we went and had lunch with all the family at my parents house so they could hear about the vacation and see all the photos we took; they also got their presents we brought back from the ports. It was a nice time catching up with the family. M and I came home and finished up reorganizing the closet. I enjoyed vacation but I am really happy to have my own shower and bed back; the shower and bed on the ship were actually really nice; but they just aren't what you have at home. I slept really well on vacation; I didn't even need the Melatonin after day 2 on the ship; I slept just fine. I don't know if was the sea air, the sound of the waves lapping against the side of the boat or what it was but I slept really good on vacation; either that or it was the compete lack of stress.
IZ: You are right with what you said; looking back when I first joined this place I felt like a completely different person with getting over what happened with my health, previous job, and that terrible relationship. It's nice to finally have my health in order; a job that I truly love and values me as an employee and a great and loving man by my side; who treats me so much better than the cheating dog did. They say a lot can happen in a year and I am grateful for everything that has happened with finding this website making the friends I have, the dream job and all the great friends and M it came with.
