If you are under 20-25%, you're probably good. We understand what Turnitin picks up. I don't use it anymore because our district doesn't fund it. Honestly, I can generally pick up on true plagiarism fairly easy since my students write so much; I know their writing quirks and know when they aren't sounding like themselves.
