I'm back from IP. Spent two weeks there and they put me on Haldol, Klonopin, Hydroxyzine, Cogentin, and Prazosin. I got a couple new diagnoses (on top of schizoaffective): Unspecified anxiety disorder and unspecified trauma related disorder.
I got the long acting shot of Haldol but I still have to take it orally for a few weeks. Of course there was a problem at the pharmacy and I can't get the Haldol til tomorrow and the Klonopin until I get prior authorization (which could take days but I already called the hospital hoping to speed up the process). I'm half expecting my psychosis to come back at least a little bit and of course my anxiety is going to be high.
During IP I got very acquainted with the "quiet room" and spent lots of sleepless nights, but I am in a better spot now. I'm still struggling, but I have the ability to fight the urge to hurt/kill myself and others now.
