Yes, @Peonie30, I do get easily overwhelmed by life's stressors! Not quite so easily now since I have been taking anti-anxiety meds for about 18 months now, but I still get overwhelmed.
ETA to add that while the anxiety meds help, so does the fact that I don't HAVE to get up and get out and get to work every morning. This is not healthy, nor is it easier mentally ...

I'm retired now, but I used to get VERY anxious at work, and I never stayed in any one job for long, because of this. I was clueless about office politics (as I am about social politics in general), I was too busy focusing on my work while trying to just keep my head down and get my job done well and not get flustered. Even after the main cause of my anxiety was diagnosed, I wasn't treated for it. No meds, just like all of my life up to that point.

I was concerned with proving myself capable of doing the work so I could keep the job, but I usually ended up quitting the job because of all the anxieties that I had no idea how to cope with, and no one to give me the help I needed.
