Hello Blueberrypi: I see this is your first post here on PC. So...welcome to Psych Central.
I'm not a mental health professional. So I don't really know all that much about this sort of thing. But I have to say what you describe in your post doesn't sound like OCD to me. It sounds more like a longstanding case of (perhaps) depression & both generalized as well as social anxiety. However presumably there is more to this than what you were able to relate in your post. That's simply the impression I was left with reading your post.
