Yes. My cat is usually perfectly fine with getting medication in baby food but today he was like... nahh.

Someone gave me a suggestion of a beta blocker pill to give to him. While it is more "dangerous" I feel like my cat is in good health. The pill apparently (and does this with humans too) short circuits the adrenaline rush from fear. So I suspect that if I gave it to him my cat my be aware there was a stranger here but would not be able to get into that "mood" that panic mood that he does. The years of fear of the vet would be forgotten.

I sent it to the vet. I love my cat but if he hurts himself in the middle of the winter I literally may not be able to get him care. That is a fear that hangs over my head and I hate it.
