I try to focus on self care when my depression is really bad. So that means making sure I'm eating right, getting exercise, getting enough sleep, showering, then it also means doing some nice things for myself. Maybe having a bit of a spa day. Laying on my bed cuddling with one of my pets or a stuffed animal. Going out in nature. Looking at cute pictures of kitties online. Etc. Any of these things and more to buoy my spirits. When that isn't enough, going to a T appointment, talking to a friend, talking to a helpline. Etc. HUGS Kit
