i've been prescribed estelle / diane for my acne. and i've been taking it for about 6 months now. i skipped my period last time. then halfway through the pack after i'd skipped i forgot to take it. so had a fairly light period then. then didn't take it. thought i'd wait until it started the next time and then start taking it again properly.

took a while... but my period finally came. and this is the worst period i've ever had in my whole entire life. one of my friends said that after you skip one the next one can be a real killer. i think i'm suffering at the moment both because i skipped one (and this is my first proper one since then) and also because i haven't been on it for over a month now.

sometimes when it is bad i'm out of action on the second day. this one... i was out of action on the first day and this is the third day and i'm still out of action. taking painkillers and still curled up in bed with severe cramps and crying jags. a few weeks ago my skin started to turn, too. greasy. and getting deep acne that is inflamed which i haven't had in a while. ugh ugh ugh.

guess being on the pill really does help level out my hormones. it is the third day and my flow hasn't even lightened up at all! usually my period only lasts three or three and a half days but it is still going strong today. don't think i could leave the house even if i wasn't all crampy, flow is too strong and i'm passing clots like i've never passed before.. crap. this sucks :-(

if i didn't know better i'd think i was dying or miscarrying or something (the later isn't possible). crap crap crap.
