Hmm, the passing clots is slightly concerning. Are they big clots or anything?

Is it possible you may have developed an infection or anything inbetween?

i almost always took my BC consecutively and just had three periods a year, i never found it worse TBH.

If the flow is heavy enough to soak a pad in an hour, you should go to the hospital ASAP because thats a dangerous amount of blood to lose. Also if it stays heavy for seven days or more. And i have been told if you pass clots bigger than, say... a golf ball thats an emergent situation too.

Otherwise its probably just the birth control thing but it still sucks.
