Work is work. It can be hard to find jobs that we both love and pay well enough.
Since you work so hard for your money, I assume you are learning to value yourself by "paying yourself first"? As in, save some of it and use some of it to invest in things that are for you? I know, that in the past, you have spent a lot of it on others but I think you have learned not to do that? You won't be working forever. I don't know about you, but, retirement is less than a decade away for me. Take care of your mind, body and spirit as much as you can so that you can enjoy the fruits of your labor someday. My dad, MIL, and many other people I know have enjoyed their long retirements....
