Thanks. I agree! I'm even having another dr do the procedure so it is done sooner. Although I'm having it done at a branch campus and didn't think to ask if going to the main campus would make it sooner. But now I've gotten it scheduled around my mom's schedule so it is what it is (and I doubt it would be faster anyway; it was 3 months faster to see the GI at the branch campus). I just read the prep instructions and I think I'm going to be doing my prep at the hotel as I have to drink prep at 4 AM and leave at 5:30 and that might be a close call. I hate making my mom go away and hope that my brother can get the day off to dogsit but I don't want to have an "accident" in the car.

I need to be at this hospital because of my MAOI but it sure is inconvenient. Even so, this dr asked if I could stop it for 2 weeks. Um, nope.....that's traditional with MAOIs but they have a protocol for safe use without discontinuing it for patients who would be suicidal and that's me. So I have to have my pdoc contact him.
