I ran out of cigarettes in the afternoon today and the store across the street is closed on Sundays so I stole a couple from my moms car. She has one left and we agreed to quit smoking once we ran out of our last pack. I was craving more earlier so i walked a block to the supermarket to buy a new pack. Since she has one left i guessed we'll quit tomorrow.
Why is quitting smoking so difficult? I quit doing drugs, I abused anything i could get my hands on, but I've never had too much difficulty quitting any of those, granted there are specific reasons why I had to quit.
Would surviving cancer be my only reason for quitting smoking? I hope not..
Anyway its midnight now and the thought of having to quit tomorrow is keeping me up. I feel guilty for having bought a new pack but since I have it I'll smoke one last cigarette, stash the pack in my drawer, stop posting on these forums and try to get ready for the morning.
