question: how do you feel about halloween?. will you do something for it or are you planning to avoid it entirely
My husband and I no longer give out candy. It was my husband's idea to stop because we got so many trick or treaters, but we did participate in our early marriage. Generally I like Halloween, and loved it as a child. Though we don't go to parties or answer the door, we still have a lovely Halloween tradition. Halloween night is the first night we light our fireplace, as the nights are already getting chilly. It's romantic!

Q: How long before Christmas (if you celebrate it) do you start to decorate for it? If you don't celebrate Christmas, do you still decorate your home in some way for the winter holidays?
