in general taking the online ACE test doesn't tell you anything that you don't already know about yourself and how your life is affected. its a self help thing where you are the one that is filling in all the answers about how you were abused and how your life was affected. the scoring just reflects how you answered the questions at that moment and can change based on your own personal views about yourself and your life day to day. some people take that online free test and chart their own ups and downs and notice patterns that they may want to work on, but over all like …...any...…. online test that is missing key questions and elements like in person interview with a psychiatrist, what your cultural background is, what meds you are on, what your religion is, what your physical health problems are....and more it says nothing other than gives you an idea how you feel about your self and your life at that very moment that you took the test. today your score may be a 6 tomorrow you may answer the questions differently and get a score of 4 or 8....

if you took the test during an actual diagnostic evaluation that includes other key elements that is part of the comprehensive evaluation process now, you can contact your treatment provider and they will explain all your scores on each of the tests given and what the scores mean as they apply to the actual diagnosis process given to you.
