Please understand that moving posts is not a punitive action. I'm sorry if you took it that way. As moderators we have been asked to help keep the forums more organized by moving posts, particularly from General, if there is a forum specifically designated for that type of post. It doesn't mean that anybody did anything wrong when a post is moved. Posts disappear off the page in General so fast when it becomes a catch-all. I hoped that by moving your post to Grief it would help it to stay around where it could be seen potentially by more people, and I also hoped that it would be validating to recognize that loss of a pet belongs with grief and loss.
