Q: Beyond bare necessities, what kinds of things have you splurged on (for money) for pleasure purposes?

I honestly can't think of anything. I'm a pretty practical shopper. Even this computer was purchased with gift cards and I only paid $40 because it was on sale as well. I do splurge on presents for my nieces; most recently a balance beam for one and a pile of books and Harry Potter stuff for the other.
