My husband and I schedule our appointments together, one time slot after the other but occasionally they even take us together into one room and the doctor sees us both at the same time. My husband is a good "follower" :-) so I found us doctors when we moved and we went for a checkup, etc. and got into the rhythm of things. I didn't have a doctor, had never been sick when my appendix burst in 2003 and that was a very costly mistake. I have a doctor now and am getting to know him and me, etc.
