I picked up my meds today so I'm set for the month.
I'm traveling to the u.s. tomorrow. It's just for a day and I'll be driving for about 5 hours each way, including the border crossing. I'm visiting a well known temple. Of course we have temples here but this one is special in it's own way. Lots of Canadians go there.
I'll stop by Niagara falls on the way there or back and check them out. I try to visit the falls once each season. Winters at the falls are amazing but you have to be prepared, otherwise it can be very unpleasant with all the ice, snow, and mist that freezes on anything on contact.
The last time I saw my sister we made a trip to the falls during winter. She wasn't prepared and her hair froze because of the mist. We took some nice pictures that day and had some good conversations. She ended up passing away 6 months later. I go back to the spot where we stood to take photos next to the falls and think of her. I actually think of her pretty often still.

I am sorry you are not feeling more of an effect with Mirapex; yet, I continue to have hope for you. Mirapex seemed to help me quickly, but then it seemed to fade a bit and now, I feel a more steady or stable mood improvement.
When I'd read about your sister's hair freezing and you taking pictures, I'd burst out laughing.

I am grateful to you, as it has been a rough day and I've needed a good laugh.
It's so very touching, the ways in which you honor your sister's memory.
You must have been close to one another. I am very sorry for your loss.
I hope you have a FUN trip!
