I am sorry about the circumstances.

I have known of people having strong reactions to missing just one dose. It might depend upon how eachperson metabolizes meds and which med(s).

I used to hear of people using mood charts a lot! I don't hear of it much anymore. Am not sure as to why? Maybe people are tracking mood electronically these days?
