My dr screwed me. He changed his mind about the knee replacement and just wanted to scope my knee to fix a tiny cartilage tear. He wants me to try this thing called Coolief that I know my insurance won’t cover and it costs between $2000-$4000. I asked what about the pain throughout my knee and the grinding on my knee cap. He said we would just try to manage the pain for at least 5 more years. I told him I can’t do stairs and have trouble getting in and out of my car. I limp and have trouble getting out of chairs. That is to just name a few. He basically said I am too young and over weight so the replacement wouldn’t last long. I am over weight because of all the damn meds I take. How does he expect me to lose weight if I can’t even walk. So now I have to find another dr for a second opinion. I am really pissed off.
