If they fire you, as bpcyclist pointed out, that could be a total opportunity for you to really pursue something you're more well suited for. That's what I"m telling myself right now as I was just fired 5 weeks into my administrative front desk role yesterday. I won't hijack your thread about it. I just want to reassure you that being fired, as scary as it is, because of the unknowns that come with being fired, can also be reframed as a chance to start over.
