I love the way Dr. Tracey Marks helps to make sense of how the brain contributes to the emotional states and thought patterns we experience. These two videos explain some theories as to what happens when we ruminate and why mindfulness and coping skills help to counteract the effects of depression. They are both pretty short. Enjoy!
