I thought it was interesting that science speculates rumination comes from an overactive part of the brain that slows down when we are grounded in the momen. I also liked to learn that we can slow it down on a more permanent level with practice. I've been working to catch myself when I am ruminating lately. It's tricky.
Even my kids know what a record is and that they skip- they are 18, 20 and 22.
