That happened to me. I had an ED-NOS, which wound up just being GERD, stomach ulcers, other issues, and today, IBS. I also have a ton of polyps now that need to be removed, when I'm up for a double-endoscopy.
I have PTSD, but getting any kind of medical treatment is challenging when they attribute symptoms to psychopathology of some kind, including somatoform. Shouldn't they rule out medical disorders first, and then suggest therapy later? It irks me when they do that.
