I have terrible anxiety. Ive found that Seroquel XR in combination with Atenolol (a beta blocker that I take for my blood pressure) makes me a little less panicky. Not hugely so, but Ill take the little less. Im also allowed to take Valium (diazepam) on an as needed basis but Im not good at taking it.
I think long term, big picture-wise, that anxiety is handled best with a combination of meds, CBT and graded exposure therapy. Even then battling with anxiety, for me anyway, is an ongoing hour by hour battle.
