LOL! No. When I was a little kid, I thought homework was totally optional. My parents were so laissez faire that they never even asked about. I recall a real humdinger of a situation with an onry teacher about my not caring. It's a funny story! Or maybe not, since she was violent. I did do homework most of the time as I grew older, but was still one of types that managed to get away with doing little. When I did apply myself, I truly excelled. That doesn't mean I didn't like learning. Just the opposite. I was also the type who wanted to participate in class all of the time. Surprised ? Sometimes I deliberately didn't raise my hand. No one did. So the teacher, frustrated, would say "So, BirdDancer, what do you think?" Extremely relieved, I would answer with glee. In the end, I was on top.
