Yeah, her opinion is that I spend most of the time in a mixed state. The manic episodes and depression episodes happen a few times/year, but usually the mixed just goes from mild to way up/down.
I left the session feeling fairly awful. I mean, I agree with her entirely. That's why I felt awful. And then another thing happened during the session and I came home feeling dangerously not okay. So for the first time, I called her. She said that was a really healthy thing to do, to reach out. She assures me that our goal in my therapy is to bring the "mild mixed" to something better. I can't even remember what she said about "something better" because I was thinking, "HA. Yeah. Right."
