I agree with ALL the other wise and wonderful posters, @LonelyMan! Yes, I'd suggest to start saving what you can and perhaps look for some of the cheapest/nearest destinations. I am sorry your Physical Illness doesn't let you move around as freely as you want! I TRULY, REALLY AM SORRY! Please NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER GIVE UP HOPE NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK? I hope you'll be able to do some nice Vacation or Trip for yourself sooner or later! Also I'd say it's best NOT to compare your situation with other people's. Everyone is different and is in different situations after all. Not to mention that even if they're allowed to pay for those trips, it most likely means that they have to give SOMETHING up - whether economically, sentimentally, ecc. Please be kind to yourself!
