Hello. I'm just trying to get some ideas, input or suggestions on on something(s) I can possibly do to completely and totally change my overall being.
To give more detail/context on just what I mean, you know how someone can like, experience something traumatic, or have a NDE or someone with a severe drug problem will overcome it and say it completely changed them. I’m just trying to think of something I can do to completely reshape myself in a similar sense. Just you know, preferably without having to come within an inch of death or go through a severe drug addiction of course.

I think In some cases people can experience an awakening froM many things. I personally feel that life altering pain and consequences fundamentally change a person. I’m not sure you can get that kind of change without that pain. Pain and discomfort are the biggest motivators along with mistakes and consequences. There are the few lucky ones who are able to positivity self motivate and change their entire lives but I believe those people are few and honestly I would be really surprised to hear of someone completely revamping who they are and how they live just because one day they decided to. I mean if everything was amazing in their lives why change ?

The best and pretty much only thing I can think of is moving to a new state and living on the streets for a little while again, see if that maybe changes anything. I was homeless once before when I turned 18, and left from Michigan down to Florida for a month or so, and I remember that had a small effect on me. But it wasn’t really anything more than considerable or lasting, so I don’t know… like I said that's just about the only thing I can think of.

I do not think purposely being homeless is safe, effective or logical if you have the means to live on your own. What I mean is if you are on the brink of homelessness and it’s a real possibility that’s one thing. But unless you plan on giving everything away, including your money, shelter and car I’m not sure I follow you on how that would help.

Also I'm not really looking for any things that will gradually change me or improve myself over time, you know like lifestyle changes. Like I said I'm more trying to find something that will have a lasting, and more-or-less sudden change.

everything takes time. Even if something traumatic and drastic happens it’s still taking some time. I sort of understand why you want to experience something life altering I just don’t know how to tell you how to do it without harming yourself.
