It’s fine as long as it did not impact on your ability to do the job and any responsibilities. I would expect any professional to not disclose their own issues.
Personally, based on experience I would prefer to have a pdoc and T that wasn’t bipolar. I’ve been hospitalised with pdoc’s and T’s and it’s terrible being with a manic pdoc who’s lost the concept of patient/pdoc confidentiality and is blurting out all manner of confidential information.
