If we do enough of it, walking is actually tremendously beneficial as a form of exercise. The differences in overall health outcomes between walkers and non-walkers is absolutely astounding. So, if you hate exercise, get some good walking or running shoes and get your butt out for a walk. And make it fun. Get some nice headphones. Google good walks people recommend in your area. Or, if you have some close to your home, drive to one of the adjacent local parks and walk there. Whatever you do, there really is no excuse for not at least walking.
