Congrats on devoting some time to regular exercise!
While I do not exercise on a regular basis right now, I find my mood lifts quite a bit with something as simple as a 10-20 minute walk.
It's strange how I usually decide to change my lifestyle just before the holidays. I am very happy with the resulting lack of weight gain over the holiday season.
