My best friend's sister went to heaven on Monday. She was my friend too.

I feel so sad today. They both live far away, so I can't be with my friend today to give her a hug.

I have also been suppressing another loss. I had a wonderful second mother, named Faith. She passed away at age 89 in early February. Because of dementia and geographic issues, I haven't been able to talk to her for about four years. I can't believe all the happy memories that have started to surface in regard to her loss.

I decided I finally needed to write about it, to get my feelings of loss out.
