@bpcyclist (((safe hugs))) I'm sorry that you've struggled with attempts in the past. That must be really hard to deal with, including the memories of that time. Not everyone experiences the same things when it comes to sui ideation and attempts. Also, there are different types of sui ideation and attempts. Pink-clouding is only one sign out the many other signs that could take place before sui. For those who care about other people who are feeling sui, it's hard for them to see the signs sometimes. Sometimes it is impossible. And for most people, they don't know how to handle it. Also, even for us who have experienced that before, it's hard for us to handle when someone else feels that way, which is strange. It may be a little easier for us to understand, but responding to it is hard. The reasons and etiologies behind sui also differ.
I just think that both carers of those who are sui and those who are sui themselves all need help, together, and as much help as everyone can find. The more help, the more better the outcome, I think. That is, if the help is good and caring and ethical.
