Do you have any access to massage or any other type of bodywork?
You may be able to release some of your pain through bodywork..
there are many theories about the idea that trauma memories are held within our bodies.
A few of my acquaintances work on bodies. I asked each of them if they see any change in the emotional status with their clients when they are being actively doing bodywork? They each report having clients suddenly start crying, and/or suddenly start laughing, etc.
At few of the trauma experts are convinced bodywork is essential. Some prominent researchers are so convinced of this mind-body connectiion, they
offer suggestions in their books re: bodywork. One has offered a specific sequence/program of yoga.
I am curious as to whether your health care program might cover the expenses of some type of bodywork for you?

Thank you so much for this information. I would love to have some done. Unfortunately, my health insurance is limited to hospital stays for any ailment. Any savings I do have is going into healing my hip. Maybe I could ask for one session as a Christmas present.
