i went for over 10 years without ... and it wasn't that i forgot but it really wasn't as conscience as it is right now... the urges were not as strong and controlling if that makes sense... i did start again when my ptsd symptoms started up again... it seemed to get more distant as the years went on... if that helps...lyn
