Without doubt, move house so my family and I can have the perfect property for us, preferably gated to keep the riffraff out.

We now have 8 fine properties to view, so if next door gets sold as it is valued slightly under the going rate for its 4 bedroom residence, it could mean we get to net £800,000 after corporation tax. I know is a lot of money, but then my late parents' home is bang on the seafront where all similar properties are valued more or less the same. Lovely in summer and just as exciting (bar ferocious gales) in winter, owners have to take the rough with the smooth.

It will be a terrible wrench to leave my dear Dad's house. But life goes on because my partner and I want to start a family.

The first property on our list is out in the sticks. This is promising because it backs onto a small forest. The forest trees though stripped of leaves from a recent gale include a walnut tree and a sweet chestnut tree just like my late parents' home. It also has a large 25 metre stone-built greenhouse that faces south, leaning to a substantial Sussex flint wall.

This is a fine example of as Sussex flint wall.

^ Beautiful,. isn't it? So exactingly built by a master craftsman brick/flint layer.

The property is detached and has 6 bedrooms. It is Grade 2 listed: which by definition is an UK building or structure that is "of special interest, warranting every effort to preserve it"

This is going to be interesting!
