Haven't been around a lot lately. Been super busy with work since I've been working full weekends for the past few weeks.

I stopped working around 9:30am today because I couldn't make anymore progress on what I was doing. I basically have to wait until tomorrow morning to report something wrong with the software I'm using so that it can get fixed and I can get back on track. In the meantime, though, I don't know what my boss is going to think of me. I can't hit any of my goals because of this stupid software issue that's not even my fault. Or maybe this is a blessing in disguise if it can be used as a valid excuse for not getting things done.

Anyway, to answer people's questions from before: I had my boss' full attention when I said I didn't want to go on a business trip overseas. We had a meeting together, just me and him, and we talked about it.

I don't know why he's so adamant about me going on a trip that I don't want to go on. It's like no matter what I say, he doesn't give a sh_t. He comes up with excuses when I tell him explicitly why I don't want to go. I said it was overwhelming, I don't like long plane trips, the time zone differences mess with me, and I don't feel comfortable going into an area of another country where practically no one speaks English. He keeps saying none of that matters because I'll "always be with other people." YEAH RIGHT. That's what my old boss said the second and third time when I complained that I didn't like the first time. That couldn't have been further from the truth. Trust me, my co-workers all like to get up late in the morning and then they stay out late after the work day because they're drinking like fish. How on earth is my fourth visit going to be any different from my first three? It's not. I don't want to go.
