Congratulations on your new job. I think it is perfectly normal to have lots of anxiety about any new job! You are not alone. In the meantime, do all you can to maintain stability. Try to keep a routine to maybe get your sleep back on track and maybe find something distracting (maybe even as simple as journaling or watching tv) to keep you away from the alcohol and cigarettes.
