So I talked to the owner today via email to see if she had any more thoughts on the employee conflict I'm having. She said one of the managers would talk to me about communication training they are going to implement. Okay. Whatever. Hopefully that is helpful. He said if the problem continues to talk to him about it. And then I just found out that the insurance is changing again this year. Ugh. Seriously?!! Plus it sucks because the GM keeps saying I'm the HR manager but I am not even given the information on the changes, nor am I given the opportunity to give input on the changes. So I was like, we need to have open enrollment as the Health Insurance renews on 12/1. The owner and the CFO were like, really? We need to do that. I was like, yes we do. So I finally got the okay to schedule the open enrollment, which isn't until Friday, which gives everyone 4 working days to get their paperwork filled out and submitted before 12/1/19, which is really pushing it because the brokers will need time to make the changes. They are changing the base plan so I'm assuming if I want to keep the insurance I have which is pretty darn good, I'm going to have to pay a whole lot more. Sigh. I'm trying to get information from the CFO so I can begin to prepare people for the changes but I don't have answers yet. What a pain. =( Kit
