This finally made me laugh. I 100 percent think this that you said " ETA - 2 or 3k?? Wow. What an ***. I bet he's just scared to tell his wife about his **** up and that he'll be withdrawing a large amount."

I also wonder if he owes other clients too

i have tried to be gracious an a team player, bc he said the insurance company messed up, even though he ignored me when Ifirst pointed it out.

I wonder if he doesnt want an offical check from him on record to me?

It just stinks. It calls him into question, and I cant resolve if he is a good solid person or if he has some character concerns.

He is charasmatic, plausible, and I am very attached.

He has now been paid by both you and your insurance. He should have used the money from insurance to pay you back. He should have used any funds he has to pay you back. You are not Bank of America. This is not ok and is an unethical business practice.

Do you think he's using this so you will stay with him given the ruptures due to his horrible behavior? He sounds so stupid. This is just more ammo if you wanted to report him. It's so inappropriate to hold your money hostage and even more so due to the context.
