This is so so true! I recently learned that caterpillars completely turn into “mush” in the cocoon before they come out as a beautiful recreated butterfly.

I’ve had people tell me, after I became a bit reclusive working on my healing, that after I came out of my cocoon they would be there. I don’t know, it rubbed me the wrong way and honestly made me angry. They have no idea what goes on inside the “cocoon”
