Oh boy, oh boy! What a long day. The social worker from the hospital called mum was released to the nursing home closest to her home. Yay! Drove over there no problem. Then when I went to get the car from the ramp this red light I've never seen before comes on and the car is stuttering and the other light starts flashing! Heart in mouth I drive around to pick up mum. She's trying to see the lights and I'm yelling at her to put her belt on. I texted my nephew and then stopped at an auto zone. The guy was really nice. Plugged in this machine and said it was safe to drive mum home.

Got to the nursing home and it's pretty basic. Sort of disheartening. Came home packed mum a bag of clothes and took a folding table so she had a table. Then went to hellmart and bought a cushion for the bed and a comfy comfortable bedspread and a little Christmas tree. My nephew stopped by and helped carry in all the stuff then came by the house to close the ceiling vents.

Tomorrow I'll be taking the car in to see what's what.
