Hi Stillness06. I am genuinely sorry for the loss of your husband. It seems we appreciate people more when they are gone. I do not know why that is but I guess for me I tend to take things for granted. And then when they are gone, I feel the emptiness.

I found when I was grieving seriously I could not get involved with other serious relationship. It was all I could do to take myself to yoga class or exercise class where just being around people helped.

They have support groups that I found helpful. If you are old enough, senior centers are great people to make acquaintances and enjoy people's company.
