SheHulk, I don't know if your school has a writing center/lab, but sometimes they can be helpful when you just don't really know where to start or can't get your thoughts together. The one at my school has online appointments as well as face to face. I went one time because I just couldn't get started on a paper. The person I met with was really helpful. She basically just asked me questions that helped clarify things in my mind and assisted me in coming up with ideas for how to structure my paper. It was funny because she didn't actually tell me what to do - but through answering her questions, everything became clearer and less overwhelming. I'm not a bad writer at all but in the past couple of years, I've had increasing trouble organizing my thoughts due to issues with maintaining focus and my trail of thought. Anyway, I left the appointment with a concrete plan for the theme of my paper, and what I would specifically discuss in each paragraph. This was incredibly helpful and I was able to knock out the paper easily. If you have such a resource at your school, I would look into it.
