For what it's worth, Beth, I've found you to be among the most intelligent people I've talked to on this forum (no offense to any others!), and deeply enjoy our talks. I've been unemployed for 6 months now, so I know how unproductive it can make you feel. Don't you dare listen to anyone who says no one wants you, or that you're trash. Everyone has a role to fill, including you.

Turning the tide is not going to be easy, Bethy, but it'll be awesome when it happens. You'll be like a force of nature, proving all those chattering busybodys wrong. When you get your self-confidence back, you will be unstoppable, I really believe that.
